SANT LLORENÇ - MALLORCA
Son Penya Adults Only Petit Hotel & Spa is located in Sant Llorenç des Cardassar, a quiet inland village in the Levante region of Mallorca. The area is predominantly agricultural, not touristic, and retains some of the large estates of bygone days, known as possesions, where the rural tradition is kept intact. The hotel's location is ideal for exploring the island of Mallorca, as it is very close to both inland and coastal towns, including Son Servera, Sa Coma, Cala Millor, Canyamel, Artà, Capdepera and Cala Ratjada. These neighbouring villages offer a wide variety of activities and sports, as well as access to the best beaches on the island.
Sant Llorenç des Cardassar is the starting point for numerous cycling routes. Son Penya Adults Only Petit Hotel & Spa offers a free bicycle service so guests can explore the surroundings at their own pace and initiative. Several routes, from easy to demanding, are available to satisfy cycling enthusiasts of all levels.
* The hotel can manage the rental of all types of bicycles.
Mallorca is a true paradise for golfers. More than 23 courses are located in different privileged places all over the island. Very close to Son Penya Adults Only Petit Hotel & Spa, just 15 minutes away by car, several top-level golf courses are available to practice this exciting sport.
* The hotel can book tee times at all the golf courses of your choice.
We invite you to go on different excursions of varying levels of difficulty in the "Serra de Llevant", in the northeast of the island, to discover its hilly landscapes, wide fields and vast unspoilt nature that make it a hiker's paradise. The "Via Verde", an old railway line between Manacor and Artá, nicely turned into a gentle 29-kilometre footpath, is another great route to explore this inland area of Mallorca.
Beaches and coves
The municipality of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar borders on Artà, Manacor, Petra and Son Servera, all of which are home to many long, paradise-like beaches. The coast of Artà in particular, boasts some of the best beaches in Mallorca, despite being the least frequented. It requires some walking before reaching the unspoilt fine sandy beaches, but the reward is a pristine landscape of undisturbed seashores, making it the perfect place to unwind.
